This practice includes asana (physical yoga postures done on a mat), pranayama (conscious breathing), guided meditation, and a bit of mantra (chanting). This is a mixed-level class with multiple variations and step-by-step options which could range from gently active to moderately challenging. We move at a slow grounding pace coordinated with our breath and tuned in to body sensations.
This style of yoga is designed for people who can get up and down off the floor unassisted several times. These classes are guided by a yoga therapist with a trauma-informed approach, adapting options to support people with a variety of injuries, disabilities, and health conditions. Beginners and experienced practitioners welcome.
Provided: Yoga props. Yoga mats.

Suggested to Bring/Wear: Comfy clothing that supports freedom of movement. Water bottle. BYO yoga mat and light blanket if you can.
