OFFERINGS FOR PRIVATE GROUPS

Yoga for Crisis Decompression and Resilience

6-Week Series for Private Groups (90 Minutes Per Session; Location as Arranged per Group)

Designed For:

  • Social Workers, Counselors, Frontline Social Service Providers

  • First Responders (Paramedics, Firefighters, Police)

  • Doctors & Nurses

  • Anyone who routinely encounters crisis situations through their work.

In our work we frequently respond to crisis situations including 911 emergencies as well as routinely holding space for people experiencing tremendous pain. These events can often trigger our own nervous systems into the Fight/Flight/Freeze mode.

Through gentle movement and breathing exercises, guided meditation and relaxation, we will explore tools to shift our nervous systems back into the Rest/Digest/Repair mode where healing, balance, and integration can occur. You will gain familiarity and confidence with simple and accessible tools for use in daily life, at work or at home, to release the energy of stress and crisis and to facilitate an experience of grounding, centering, and calming. This series is taught with a trauma-informed approach.

No experience necessary.
Open and accessible to all bodies, regardless of ability, mobility, or fitness.
Pre-registration and intake required.

Questions & Private Group (eg. Workplace) Bookings: Please contact Erin

Previous participants in this series include Supportive Housing staff at Pacifica Housing in Lək̓ʷəŋən & W̱SÁNEĆ Territories (Victoria, BC).
